The UCI BIKE CITY LABEL is a recognition by the UCI for cities and regions that make pioneering bicycle Initiatives, and Tokyo the first city in the East Asia region to be awarded this recognition. This project is a part of the “Push Sports Project”.
The “Recommended Sports Project” is an initiative to create opportunities for Tokyo residents to become familiar with various Sports the occasion of the World Championships in Athletics and the Deaflympics to be held in Tokyo in 2025, and to help them discover “the joy of Sports that match the preferences and characteristics of each Tokyo resident (Recommended Sports )” through experiencing the appeal of Sports. This is an Initiatives support the discovery of “the joys of sports that match the preferences and characteristics of individual Tokyo residents (Recommended Sports)” through exposure to the appeal of sports.

This project is an Initiatives to promote the ” 2050 Tokyo Strategy.
